basic principles of led spherical screen:
it consists of core control module, rotary display module, wireless module, word library module, motor drive module and power supply. the fan blade is designed to be circular. there is a circle of led beads on the fan blade. the light emitting color of the led is monochrome or multi-color. when the fan blade rotates around the central axis, a sphere will be generated, and all of them are led on the sphere. with the font software, when the fan blade reaches the corresponding position, the corresponding points will be lit, so that the display content of a sphere can be controlled.
types of led spherical screen:
the earliest ball screen on the market, commonly known as the watermelon skin ball screen, is composed of watermelon skin-like pcb. its advantages are intuitive structure and fewer types of pcb. its fatal disadvantage is that the north and south polar (i.e. north latitude 45 degrees north, south latitude 45 degrees south) can not normally play images, so the utilization rate of the picture is too low or the image distortion is serious. the reason is that at present, the pixel arrangement of all image sources is arranged in rows, and the pixel arrangement of the north and south poles of the watermelon skin led spherical screen is not arranged in rows, but in circles, so it is difficult to display.
the ball screen composed of triangular led spherical screen and triangular pcb, commonly known as football screen, overcomes the shortcomings of watermelon skin ball screen that can not play images in the north and south poles, so the utilization rate of the picture is greatly improved. the disadvantage is that there are many kinds of pcbs, which are limited by the honeycomb-shaped arrangement of pixels, and the spacing of points can not be too small, and the software writing is also troublesome.
the led spherical screen composed of quadrilateral pcb is called the six-sided panoramic led spherical screen. its fabrication method is very simple. now take the ball screen with 1.5 meters diameter as an example: divide the whole sphere into six identical shapes and sizes, and then divide each surface into four identical cell boxes with six identical shapes and sizes, totally 24. each cell box consists of 16 pcbs with led lights welded on the surface. finally, they are installed into a six-sided panoramic led spherical screen.
