What is the common Yin cold screen?
“Common cathode” refers to the common cathode power supply mode. The common cathode cold screen adopts the common cathode lamp bead, and R and GB are powered separately. “Negative” is the negative pole, opposite to the anode (positive pole), the current flows through the lamp bead and then to the IC negative pole.

What are the characteristics of the cold screen?
The common shade cold screen adopts R and GB separate power supply, that is, the voltage and current are accurately distributed to the red, green and blue lamp beads, the current goes through the lamp beads and then to the IC negative electrode, the positive voltage is reduced, and the conduction internal resistance is small. What are the features of the common positive display?
Conventional LED displays are generally powered by common anode. The voltage requirements of red, green and blue lamp beads are different (the red lamp bead voltage is about 2.5V, and the blue-green lamp bead voltage is about 3.8V). The common positive display screen usually gives a voltage higher than 3.8V, and the current flows from the PCB input to the lamp beads, which not only increases the forward voltage drop of the circuit, but also produces excessive power loss.

Why is the cold screen “cold”?
The special common cathode power supply mode of the cold screen makes the LED display screen produce less heat and lower temperature rise. Under normal conditions, the temperature of the cold screen is about 20 ℃ lower than that of the conventional outdoor LED display screen of the same model in white balance state and video playing!
